Hi! My name is Airi. Welcome to my blog~ I'm just your average Vietnamese fangirl trying to get by in life. I'm a smol, awkward bean who likes to spend her day either doing the following: reading, writing, crying over Kamen Rider, trying to find the perfect way to edit Instagram photos, or scrolling through Tumblr. ♡

.:*･゜ﾟ･♡♪+*.  What's my history with J-pop? .:*･゜ﾟ･♡♪+*.

My first exposure to J-pop has been through the anime, Detective Conan, as I loved the various openings and endings.  I did not officially become a real fan of the genre until approximately 2010-2011 when I become introduced to the group Buono! and other Hello! Project groups. I started out as a hardcore idol stan but kinda grew out of the super cutesy idol concepts as I've gotten older. Doesn't mean that I dislike idols, oh no! I still enjoy jamming to a good Momoiro Clover Z or Wa-suta song!

Aside from J-pop, I do try to broaden my bubble of music by listening to other Japanese genres such as J-rock. So occasionally, you might see me mention some rock/pop-rock that I enjoy as well. Although J-pop is my favorite music genre, I do listen to other various music genres such as the ever popular K-pop. But still, if you look at my iTunes, the statistics are probably like this: 97% Japanese, 2% Korean, 1% other.

I love J-pop, and will most likely die still loving it. Someone will most likely play Miura Daichi's EXCITE or maybe Yonezu Kenshi's LOSER at my funeral.

You'll mostly find the usual types of entries such as reviews for singles, albums, music videos. Although, I've been trying to sorta broaden the types of entries I wanna write such as personal rankings. Either way, it's all going to be centered on J-pop somehow. I might write a rant occasionally, but I normally try to keep this blog as positive as I can.

Hard to believe that I started this blog back in 2012, barely posting even a coherent entry. Now, I'm here writing entries from reviews or doing appreciation weeks. Writer and blog development at it's finest! I honestly wouldn't have it any other way~ :D
