Semi-Hiatus: Studying for Midterms/Finals and Heading to Back to the Motherland!

You know ... I should be studying right now ... But I feel really lazy now.

Hello guys~ Konbonuu~ How are you all today? Well night since I'm writing this at nearly midnight. Pfft. First of all, sorry there's been a lack of blog posts lately. I got a valid excuse though- SCHOOL. Okay, it's not really a valid excuse anymore since everyone has school or college or work or whatever~ But seriously, I have been really caught up in a lot of school work and I have a very definite fear of my grades dying. (like failing and getting C's and ... It's scary!)

Usually I would post on the weekends like usual - kind of - but besides getting school work done, I had to study for my midterms/finals. Studying for midterms/finals was the reason I didn't post much at all during Christmas break too. You know, I really want to do good on these exams so I've been studying my a-- off. Now my brain feels 99.99% dead. ; _ ;

After finishing my midterms/finals, I will also be going on a Winter vacation back to the motherland! Also known as Vietnam. To be honest, it's been nearly a decade since I've returned to Vietnam. I still remember when I was little - I constantly ate Bun Bo Hue. Huh ... Now I know where I got my addiction to the food comes from. Vietnamese New Years is coming up so I'm looking forward to heading back to Vietnam~

UGH, THINK OF ALL THE DELICIOUS VIETNAMESE FOOD I WOULD EAT - TRUE VIETNAMESE FOOD. Lol, I'm gonna be posting a lot of food porn pictures, ahahaha~ I would be able to eat pho and bun bo hue 24/7! Heo yes! Also, it'll be really nice to brush up on my Vietnamese. Compared to other kids here, my Vietnamese (in terms of speaking) is better than them but it's still pretty awful. So hopefully, when I go back to Vietnam, I can learn to speak it better and in the correct dialect as well.

*in Vietnam, there's three different dialects when it comes to speaking: North, South, and the Middle. When I speak Vietnamese, it's always in a Southern dialect which isn't technically correct. More proper Vietnamese is the Northern dialect, proper grammar and all that. Or at least that's what my parents says-

When going back to Vietnam, I'm also looking forward to seeing some of my old elderly relatives whom I haven't seen in YEARS. I wonder if they still remember me ... Also, I was told that when I was younger, I used to play with this young boy who was only a year older than me - when I was visiting Vietnam years ago. He was considered to be my "boyfriend" and missed me when I left Vietnam. Wait whuuuut- "Boyfriend"? Yea, right. I don't even remember him. But when I go back, I wanna meet him again and see the kind of person he is now. -and whether he's hot or not /whacked;

- Also I heard that there's a lot of KPOP now in Vietnam. Like it's seriously getting popular among Vietnamese now. So hopefully, I can buy some merchandise maybe. Like a keychain or so? Some merchandise ...

ALSO, ALSO, ALSO. Besides going back to Vietnam, I'm also going to stay in JAPAN. GLORIOUS NIHON. ERMAHGAWD. I can't believe it's actually happening: me ... going to Japan. The minute I get there, I'm gonna head straight for Akihabara and Harajuku. I wanna go to the Hello! Project shop and Johnny's Shop and get goodies. After that, I might just settle in Shinjuku and do shopping around there~ Haha~

I'm not exactly hopeful that I'll be able to go to Hello! Project shop or Johnny's shop or even the AKB theater in Akihabara - since whenever I wish for something, the exact opposite happens. Pfft- I'll be happy if I could just do some shopping in Tower Records and BOOK•OFF, just that and I'll be satisfied. Gyahahaha~ Also, I may or may not have access to internet while I'm in Vietnam or Japan. I'm not even sure if my parents are even letting me bring my laptop. Erm- I'll try to update my twitter but if I don't have internet, it might be three weeks until I start blogging again.

Well, I need to go now~ I'll miss blogging but then again I'll be having fun in Japan and Vietnam. Ahahahahahaha~ I'll post a lot of food porn pictures and stuff when I get back! Jyaa ne~
